Key Areas for Nightlife
- Korte Heuvel: the main student nightlife street. Bars and clubs lined up side by side, cheap drinks, social atmosphere. The place to start any Thursday or Saturday night.
- Piusplein: the bigger square with clubs that run later. Demo/Club Smederij is here, plus Extase and other venues for when you want to actually dance.
- Stadhuisstraat: bars and terraces, slightly more relaxed atmosphere than Korte Heuvel. Good for earlier evening drinks.

- Demo / Club Smederij: brand new club that opened September 2025 in collaboration with ESN Tilburg. Small capacity, quality booking, underground vibe. The most interesting new venue in the city.
- Extase: the main commercial/mainstream club in Tilburg. Bigger space, popular with students for a proper dance night.
- Club Rodenburg: established student club with regular themed nights. Reliable and affordable.
- Café de Fuik: classic Tilburg student bar, relaxed atmosphere, cheap drinks.
- De Kroon: rooftop bar that comes alive in summer. Pre-drinks or late drinks with a view.
ESN Tilburg: International Students Welcome
The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Tilburg organizes the Carpe Noctem bar at Tilburg University campus. It's specifically designed for international students: cheap drinks, a social atmosphere, and an easy way to meet people. ESN also co-runs Demo/Club Smederij, making it one of the most student-friendly electronic clubs in the Netherlands.

Getting to Tilburg
From Amsterdam Centraal: NS Intercity to Tilburg Centraal, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. From Utrecht: approximately 45 minutes. From Eindhoven: approximately 20 minutes. Tilburg Centraal is a 15-minute walk to Korte Heuvel.
